This Position Reports To

Manufacturing Unit Manager

This role is contributing to the NEMA Motors division factory success in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico

General relocation/LTA support will not be considered for this position.

You will be mainly accountable for:

- Overall Quality performance in the factory.
- Monitor and improve key indicators including scrap, warranty and FPY.
- Responsible for the supplier quality performance.
- Manage the quality management systems of the factory in accordance with ABB's procedures.
- Ensure the compliance with the management system including ISO9001.
- Leading in promptly addressing issues related to products, processes and suppliers quality, demonstrating a good knowledge in problem solving tools.
- Ensuring required supplier development processes are thoroughly executed to drive continuous improvement of the supplier base.
- Handle the cycle count team, supplier quality team and production quality team.

Qualifications For The Role

- You enjoy working with problem solving and continues improvement methods in the metal-mechanic industry,



electric motor industry preferably.
- You have more than 8 years of experience in quality related activities.
- Possess a good knowledge of SAP or similar ERPs, document management systems such as Compliant Pro.
- Good communication skills, including verbal and written.
- Customer management under high pressure environments.
- You are at ease communicating in English and Spanish.
- You hold current degree in mechanical, industrial engineering or similar fields.
