Job Purpose
Key Responsibilities
- Create component footprint geometry and electrical symbols primarily using Mentor Graphics tools.
- Understand and interpret component package drawings (ASME Y14.5, etc)
- Interface with requesting EEs, other librarians, the Manufacturing Technology Team, and program management, all on a global scale
- Review and test CAD geometry created by other ECAD librarians.
- Manage component data in library database (accessed globally)
- Follow all approved BorgWarner ECAD processes to maintain library data integrity




What we are looking for
- High School Diploma required; Associate degree in engineering field, electrical or mechanical engineering (preferred)
- 2+ years Mentor Graphics xPedition or similar tool (preferred)
- 2+ years Mentor Graphics EDM Librarian Cockpit or similar tool (required)
- 2+ years mechanical CAD tools (NX, Autodesk tools) (preferred)
- Valor DRC
- MS Office Experience
- Capabilities/aptitudes
