Job Title: FINANCE ANALYST - REGIONAL COST ACCOUNTANTPosting Start Date: 6/18/26At TE, you will unleash your potential working with people from diverse backgrounds and industries to create a safer, sustainable and more connected world.Job Description:Job OverviewThe Regional Cost Accountant is responsible for overseeing standard costing, inventory valuation, and cost control processes across the North American region of the Sensors BU.
Works with local Site Controllers, Product Management, Customer Care and Commercial Finance teams to ensure alignment on current/future standard costing.Key ResponsabilitiesStandard Costing & Cost StructureMaintain and update standard costs for materials, labor, and overhead within SAP system.Review of BOMs, routings, info records, source lists and intercompany sourcesLead annual standard cost roll and periodic updates as required.Ensure costing structures accurately reflect current operational processes and input assumptions.Inventory Accounting & ControlsManage inventory valuation and ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies including Cross Company Intercompany CostingVariance AnalysisAnalyze manufacturing variances (material, labor, overhead, scrap, purchase price variance).
Partner with operations and plant finance teams to identify root causes and corrective actions.Business PartneringCollaborate with plant operations, supply chain, and procurement teams to validate and improve cost performance.Support decision-making for make vs. buy, sourcing, and process improvements.Provide financial guidance on cost impacts for operational changes.Systems & Process ImprovementMaintain and enhance costing processes within ERP systems.Support system implementations, upgrades,
or process standardization initiatives.Drive continuous improvement in cost accounting practices and controls.Job RequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field3-6 years of cost accounting (or related) experience in a manufacturing environmentStrong understanding of standard costing and inventory accounting principlesExperience with ERP systems (SAP strongly preferred)Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilitiesAbility to work cross-functionally within a cross functional team globally-li> Bilingual (Spanish-English)What your background should look likeExperience supporting multiple manufacturing sites or regionsFamiliarity with standard costing in high-mix, industrial environmentsAnalytical thinking and attention to detailStrong business partnering and communication skillsProcess-oriented with continuous improvement mindsetCompetenciesValues: Integrity, Accountability, Inclusion, Innovation, TeamworkABOUT TE CONNECTIVITYTE Connectivity plc (NYSE: TEL) is a integral industrial technology leader creating a safer, sustainable, productive, and connected future.
