Axionex Integral is seeking an experienced Fire Protection & Life Safety Design Engineer to join our engineering team on a project basis.
The selected professional will be responsible for designing, reviewing, and documenting fire protection systems for textile manufacturing facilities in compliance with ACCORD Pakistan, NFPA, and other applicable international standards.Location: Karachi, Lahore, Faisalabad, MultanIndustry: Textile Manufacturing & Industrial FacilitiesPositionFire Protection & Life Safety Design Engineer (Project-Based)Experience & Qualifications5–8+ years of experience in industrial fire protection designProven experience with textile manufacturing facilitiesHands‐on experience with ACCORD Pakistan, RSC, and international fire & life safety requirementsStrong knowledge of NFPA 13, 14, 20, 22, 24, 25, 72 & 101Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant disciplineExcellent command of AutoCAD (Revit/BIM experience will be an advantage)Key ResponsibilitiesConduct detailed site surveys and technical assessments of existing fire protection systems.Prepare accurate As-Built Fire Protection Drawings.Design and develop:Fire Hydrant SystemsUnderground & Above-Ground Hydrant NetworksFire Water Storage TanksFire Pump RoomsAutomatic Sprinkler SystemsHose Reel SystemsFire Department Connections (FDC)Fire Protection Riser DiagramsFire Alarm System Layouts (where applicable)Perform hydraulic calculations and equipment sizing.Prepare BOQs, technical specifications, material schedules, and engineering documentation.Review existing installations and identify compliance gaps.Coordinate with Architectural, Structural, Electrical, HVAC, and MEP teams.Coordinate with clients for business development and sales.Ensure compliance with ACCORD Pakistan, RSC, NFPA, local building codes, and client requirements.Support engineering reviews, inspections, and final project submissions.Required SkillsStrong AutoCAD drafting and design capabilitiesHydraulic calculation and fire network design expertiseThorough understanding of industrial fire protection systemsAbility to independently conduct surveys and prepare complete engineering documentationExcellent analytical, communication, and coordination skillsWillingness to travel for factory assessments across PakistanWhat We OfferProject-based assignments with attractive remunerationPerformance-based incentivesOpportunity to work on large-scale textile industrial projectsExposure to international engineering standards and best practicesProfessional, collaborative, and growth-oriented working environmentLong-term collaboration opportunities for outstanding performers#J-*****-Ljbffr
