Are you a Chemical Engineer with 8+ years of experience specifically in automotive paints and coatings?

We are looking for an experienced Automotive Paint & Coatings Specialist with strong technical expertise in waterborne paint, solventborne paint, E-coat, and color matching/colorimetry, with a strong background in laboratory and product evaluation.

We are a Japanese company specialized in automotive paints and coatings, providing technical solutions and specialized coating systems to the automotive industry.

Main Responsibilities

- Analyze and evaluate automotive paint and coating products.
- Perform laboratory testing and product evaluations.
- Work with waterborne, solventborne, and E-coat coating systems.
- Analyze the physical and chemical properties of paints and coatings.
- Perform color evaluation, color matching, and color adjustment.
- Investigate color variations, product deviations, and paint-related issues.
- Identify root causes and recommend technical solutions.
- Conduct comparative tests and analyze laboratory results.
- Participate in product validation, improvement, and technical testing.
- Support the evaluation and improvement of coating performance.
- Prepare technical reports and documentation.
- Provide specialized technical support related to paint products and coating performance.
- Work closely with technical, quality, production, R&D;, and customer teams.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
- 8+ years of professional experience specifically in automotive paints and coatings.
- Strong experience in paint laboratory and product evaluation.
- Solid knowledge of:
- Waterborne Paint
- Solventborne Paint
- E-coat / Electrocoating
- Colorimetry
- Color Matching / Color Adjustment
- Paint and coating properties and performance
- Experience troubleshooting paint and coating product-related issues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced English / Bilingual English, required.
- Valid U.S. visa, required.




- Availability to travel to the United States.
- Availability to work in Silao, Guanajuato – Puerto Interior.

Buscamos Ingeniero Químico Bilingüe, con mínimo 8 años de experiencia especializada en pintura y recubrimientos automotrices, principalmente en laboratorio y análisis de producto.

Es indispensable contar con experiencia en pintura base agua, base solvente, E-coat y colorimetría, especialmente en evaluación, igualación y ajuste de color, así como en análisis y solución de problemas relacionados con el producto.

Requisitos indispensables:

- Ingeniería Química.
