MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Logistics Analyst II to join our vehicle sustainment team in Djibouti, Africa. The selected candidate will provide logistics support to multiple families of vehicles globally on the Allied Logistics Engineering Capabilities Sustainment (ALECS) program.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist more senior positions and perform functional duties under the oversight of more senior positions supporting logistics efforts.
- Analyze and coordinate logistical functions.
- Record, maintain and initiate work order documentation for acquisition of component items from vendors.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or guidance.
- Packing, shipping, receiving, transportation of parts, items and equipment.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- 7+ years of qualified logistical experience and a High School diploma.
- For U.S. Army support, Supply personnel shall have a minimum of one year experience in the use of Enterprise Logistics Management System (ELMS), GCSS-A or DOD equivalent to ensure military supply system proficiency and managing inventory and maintenance records without requiring basic software training.
- Ability to successfully pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screening; must possess a Valid Driver’s License for the location in which the work will be performed, a High School Diploma or GED, and a Passport valid for at least one year beyond the start date.
- Up to 25% Travel Required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Defense Logistics Software: 2+ years of hands-on experience with automated government logistics systems such as ELMS (Enterprise Logistics Management System), GCSS-A (Integral Combat Support System - Army), or CMPro (Configuration Management Professional).
- Familiarity with Mantech logistical systems is preferred. IE LogMASTRE
Clearance Requirements:
- Must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain an Interim Secret clearance prior to starting this position. Also, must be able to obtain and maintain active Secret clearance.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to balance, bend, carry, crouch, stretch and kneel.
- Must be able to push, pull, and reach.
- Must be able to work with computers and CRTs, and type on a computer keyboard for long periods of time.
