Project Director - Retail Projects

As a Project Director of Retail Projects you are responsible of:

Project Leadership

- Own the successful delivery of all customer projects
- Lead projects from concept through manufacturing to installation.
- Develop and maintain project delivery plans.

Engineering Leadership

- Lead and develop the engineering and CAD teams.
- Ensure drawing packages are accurate and released on time.
- Drive Design for Manufacture (DFM) principles.

Estimating Excellence

- Lead the estimating function.
- Improve quotation speed without compromising quality.
- Ensure estimating accuracy and commercial competitiveness.

Customer Experience

- Build trusted relationships with integral customers.
- Lead technical meetings and project reviews.
- Manage customer expectations professionally.

Manufacturing Integration

- Work closely with Production to ensure smooth project execution.
- Support production planning and factory scheduling.
- Resolve engineering queries quickly.

Commercial Performance

- Protect project margins.
- Identify value engineering opportunities.
- Review project profitability.

Continuous Improvement

- Build a world-class project management culture.
- Introducing modern project management disciplines.




- Standardize engineering processes.

Profile Requirements:

- Extensive experience delivering retail display, POP, POS, fixture or shopfitting projects.
- Strong leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent commercial awareness.
- Outstanding organizational skills.
- Experience working with manufacturing businesses.
- Excellent communication and customer-facing abilities.
- A passion for continuous improvement.
- The confidence to make decisions and take ownership.
- Experience with international retail brands and complex manufacturing programmes will be highly regarded.
