Job description: Corporate Quality Director.

Responsibilities:

- This leadership position focuses on the strategic execution and project management aspects of quality assurance.
- Strategic Alignment and Guidance: Offer strategic direction, expert advice, and guidance to align operations with our policy, quality management system standards, strategic goals, and organizational objectives
- Collaborative Management: Engage actively with the management team in planning and executing process improvements, specialized projects, and key initiatives
- Process Documentation Oversight: Manage the continuous update and maintenance of the Process Document System.
- Project Support: Provide essential support in implementing processes and procedures across various domains, including quality assurance, operations, supplier quality, and continual process improvements
- Quality Metrics Development: Aid in the development and reporting of the organization's quality objectives
- Team Mentoring: Offer guidance and mentorship to program quality managers and their respective teams
- Quality System Audit Management: Oversee the internal quality management system audit process to ensure adherence to various management systems standards
- Problem-Solving Leadership: Conduct root cause analysis for programmatic and technical issues, aiding in the formulation of effective corrective action plans
- Oversee the development of SOP’s and documentation for the Quality Department.
- Ensure all products and related services meet or exceed customer requirements.
- Ensure strict confidentiality concerning policy, wages/salaries, trade secrets, financials, etc., between associates and outside concerns.
- Verify requirements are met which ensures good quality management. This is done following proper procedures and in consideration of cost factors.

Main Functions:





The Director of Quality plays a pivotal role in steering our Sector business and quality management systems. This leadership position focuses on the strategic execution and project management aspects of quality assurance. The incumbent is entrusted with the vital task of coordinating and obtaining ISO certifications. Collaborating closely with the Divisions, Quality Managers, functional process owners, the Director ensures ongoing process enhancement and diligent quality metrics reporting.

Educational/Training Requirements:

- Degree/Diploma Obtained: Master’s degree is required in Engineering.
- Languages: English fluency, Spanish is a plus

Licensing Requirements:

Certificates/Licenses/Registration: A Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification, reflecting a strong proficiency in quality management and process improvement methodologies.

Experience Requirements:

A minimum of 15 years of professional experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
