Dental Care Mexico (DCM) is a multi-specialty dental clinic in Tijuana serving patients who travel from Southern California and Nevada for high-quality, affordable dental care. We're growing our clinical team and looking for a dedicated Dental Assistant who takes pride in patient care and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists chairside during exams, procedures, and treatments
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain infection control standards
- Take and process dental X-rays
- Prepare and organize dental materials and equipment
- Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with scheduling as needed
- Keep treatment rooms and common areas clean, organized, and tidy
- Help with general auxiliary tasks around the clinic (restocking supplies, trash removal, light cleaning, etc.)
- Provide a warm,
professional experience for our largely U.S.-based patient base
Requirements
- Certification/training as a Dental Assistant (or equivalent hands-on experience)
- Strong attention to detail and sterilization/infection-control practices
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a dental or medical office
- Experience with digital X-rays and dental software
- English a plus — many of our patients are English-speaking, so conversational English is a strong advantage (not required)
