Renewable Energy Application Engineer Intern

Schedule: Full-Time – 40 Hours per Week

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Renewable Energy Application Engineer Intern to support the development and execution of renewable energy projects. This role provides hands-on experience in photovoltaic (PV) systems, battery energy storage systems (BESS), energy management systems (EMS/Microgrid), electric vehicle (EV) technologies, and other clean energy solutions.

This is an excellent opportunity for a student or recent graduate looking to gain practical industry experience in renewable energy applications and project design.

Key Responsibilities

- Review electrical plans and specifications for PV, BESS, EMS/Microgrid, and EV projects.
- Prepare material quotations for renewable energy projects.
- Design and develop wiring diagrams based on specific application requirements (e.g., microgrid applications).
- Collaborate with manufacturers to verify system requirements and ensure technical compatibility.
- Meet project deadlines and bidding timelines.
- Clarify job site details and respond to client inquiries related to wiring diagrams.
- Discuss site conditions and project variations with contractors.




- Coordinate with the sales team regarding pricing strategies and project execution.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of projects and documentation.
- Participate in client meetings to address concerns and provide project-specific guidance.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education:

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred), or coursework in renewable energy or sustainability.

Technical Knowledge:

- Understanding of electrical power systems.
- Basic knowledge of renewable energy technologies.

Skills:

- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Results-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines and support team objectives.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.

Software Proficiency:

- Microsoft Office Suite.
- AutoCAD (preferred but not required).

Sueldo: $18,000.00 - $28,000.00 al mes
