Production Planning:

Ø Develop comprehensive production plans based on customer orders, inventory levels, and production capacity.

Ø Coordinate with sales, procurement, and production teams to ensure alignment between demand forecasts and production schedules.

Ø Continuously monitor and adjust production plans to optimize resource utilization and meet customer delivery deadlines.

Resource Allocation:

Ø Allocate manpower, equipment, and materials efficiently to support production schedules.

Ø Work closely with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.

Ø Anticipate and resolve resource constraints to minimize production disruptions.

Schedule Management:

Ø Create and maintain production schedules, ensuring adherence to lead times and delivery commitments.

Ø Monitor production progress and address any deviations from the plan promptly.

Ø Coordinate with internal stakeholders to prioritize production activities and resolve scheduling conflicts.

Quality Assurance:

Ø Collaborate with the quality control team to establish and maintain quality standards for wire harness products.

Ø Implement procedures for inspecting, testing, and certifying products at various stages of the production process.

Ø Take corrective actions to address quality issues and prevent recurrence.

Continuous Improvement:

Ø Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements within the production workflow.

Ø Lead or participate in cross-functional teams (local and remote) to implement best practices and drive continuous improvement initiatives.





Ø Analyze production data and metrics to evaluate performance against targets and identify areas for enhancement.

Communication and Collaboration:

Ø Facilitate clear communication and collaboration among production, engineering, quality, and other relevant departments.

Ø Provide regular updates on production status, performance metrics, and potential risks to senior management.

Ø Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous learning within the production team.

Ø Proven ability to work closely with HQ staff as well over-seas remote team

Qualification:

Ø Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field (preferred).

Ø Has worked 3 to 5 years as plant manager, with proven experience in production planning, scheduling, and resource management, in a Plastic Molding Industry environment.

Ø If not living in Juarez, willingness and ability to travel daily to the manufacturing facility in Juarez Mexico, with the ability to manage responsibilities effectively across locations.

Ø Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using software tools for production planning and scheduling.

Ø Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across borders and cultural differences.

Ø Familiarity with quality management systems and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is advantageous.

Ø Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities while ensuring operational excellence.

Ø Any additional experience in Cable manufacturing is a plus

Ø Must be bi-lingual (English, Spanish)
