You'll Support Meaningful Work By:
- Managing a portfolio of customer accounts and maintaining timely collections activities to support healthy account balances.
- Communicating with customers to resolve payment issues, reconcile accounts, and investigate outstanding balances.
- Processing credit card payments, customer credits, refunds, and account adjustments accurately and on time.
- Collaborating with Sales Support, Quality, and other cross-functional teams to resolve pricing, invoicing, order, and service-related discrepancies.
- Investigating tax, freight, credit, and billing discrepancies and ensuring supporting documentation is properly maintained.
- Preparing reports and monitoring account activity to identify collection risks, trends, and opportunities for resolution.
- Maintaining accurate customer account records, submitting required documentation, and supporting collection agency referrals when necessary.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- +2 years of professional experience in collections, accounts receivable, credit, accounting, finance, or a related function.
- Experience managing customer accounts, resolving payment issues, and reconciling account discrepancies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Experience working with ERP systems; EPICOR experience is a plus.
- Experience investigating and resolving tax, freight, billing, or pricing discrepancies.
- Experience working in a customer-facing collections, credit, or accounts receivable environment.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and service.
- Experience within the textile, design, architecture, or related industry is preferred.
