The Equipment Technician performs and ensures that the manufacturing equipment is in working condition, providing the necessary preventive and corrective maintenance to facilitate production without defects caused by the equipment.
**General Responsibilities**
- Participates on services and calibrates test equipment by making regular performance inspections, planning preventative maintenance and repairing defective equipment or systems.
- Assists with repairs and preventative actions on equipment within the production.
- Participates in the deployment of new equipment.
- Assists on preventive actions with a real risk of equipment or infrastructure problems.
- Ensures correction and continuous improvement events for the performance of production equipment.
- Timely informs the supervisor and relevant staff about maintenance issues related to the technological equipment during unplanned repairs.
**Experience / Qualifications**
- Relevant work experience or knowledge of the role
- Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
- Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
- Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
Electronic and Mechatronic Specialization prefered
