**A Snapshot of Your Day**
Own the end-to-end architecture for AI solutions in the ART; sit in Enterprise Architecture, stay hands-on enough to code, and keep cost, security, and operability front and center.
**How You'll Make an Impact**
- Define reference architecture, non-functionals, and guardrails, author Architecture Decision Records and threat models.
- Select Azure building blocks and deployment strategy (e.g., AKS/Container Apps, APIM, Event Hub/Service Bus, Key Vault, Monitor/App Insights).
- Design API/event contracts and integration patterns (REST/gRPC, pub/sub, batch/stream).
- Drive production readiness: SLOs, observability, runbooks, rollback/blue-green, DR.
- Perform code/design reviews; curate shared libs/templates; enforce secure-by-design.
- Availability to travel and visit projects.
**What You Bring**
- Strong hands-on development skills with the ability to deliver reference implementations and POCs using technologies such as Python,.
NET, Node, or Java.
- Experience with modern distributed systems including microservices, event-driven architectures, idempotency, and reliability patterns like circuit breakers, retries, and caching.
- Proficient in API and schema design, with knowledge of versioning and compatibility strategies.
Solid understanding of cost/performance trade-offs.
- Cloud infrastructure expertise, particularly with Azure, IaC, containers, registries, and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Security and observability knowledge, including OAuth2/OIDC (Entra ID), Key Vault, network/isolation policies, OpenTelemetry, Azure Monitor, App Insights,
and logging/tracing practices.
- Excellent communication skills in advanced English, with demonstrated leadership, adaptability, and experience working with LLM/RAG platform patterns.

In the department of Engineering Infrastructure switching configurator, we are responsible for the tool chain for the CPQ process globally.
Our team is in Germany and Mexico and our customers are the switching products factory worldwide.
You work with software developers, requirement engineers and business analysts.
