**About the role**:
Join Samsara as a **People Partner Generalist** and play a pivotal role in supporting our **GTM functions across North America**.
You'll be a key member of our People team, partnering with the business to execute day-to-day people operations, drive scalable processes, and contribute to our strategic people initiatives.

**This is a hybrid position requiring working from our Mexico City office 2-3 days per week.
Relocation assistance will not be provided for this role.

**In this role, you will**:
- Provide HR support to North America GTM teams, ensuring seamless communication and effective problem-solving.
- Partner with Centers of Excellence (Learning, Performance, ER, Ops, etc.) to align people programs with business priorities.
- Execute and improve key people processes, including performance cycles, engagement surveys, and talent reviews, focusing on efficiency and effectiveness.
- Analyze HR data to provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making with support from the team.




- Conduct process reviews and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and stakeholder alignment.
- Provide timely and accurate HR consultation to managers and employees, resolving issues with sound judgment.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes, focusing on scalability and efficiency.
- Track team OKRs and identify potential challenges.
- Contribute to team priority setting and organization.
- Champion, role model, and embed Samsara's cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices.
**Minimum requirements for the role**:
- 2+ years of overall professional experience; 1+ year of professional experience in HR, employee relations, or a related field, with experience supporting teams in fast-paced, cross-functional environments (management consulting experience considered).
- Strong bias for action and a "roll-up-your-sleeves" attitude.
- Experience using data to drive insights and action.
- Proficiency in spreadsheet software (e.g., Google Sheets, Excel), including vlookups.
- Proficiency with project management tools.
- Consulting, coaching, and facilitation skills.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
- Fluent in written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate professionally and clearly across teams.
