**Position Summary**
The BSC Manager - Mexico is a key leadership role responsible for building and leading Flowserve's newly created Business Services Center (BSC) in Mexico.
This individual will play a critical role in establishing the site, hiring talent, transitioning global processes, and delivering best-in-class finance operations.
Reporting to the BSC Director based in Hungary, the BSC Manager will oversee a range of shared services functions supporting North America and LATAM, including Record-to-Report (RTR), Procure-to-Pay (PTP), Order-to-Cash (OTC), FP&A;, Tax and other service offerings.
The role also includes site leadership responsibilities, ensuring the Mexico BSC operates efficiently, safely, and in alignment with Flowserve's standards and culture.
**Key Responsibilities**
**1.
People Management**
- Lead all local HR-related efforts including recruitment, onboarding, development, and performance management for the Mexico BSC.
- Foster a culture of inclusion, empowerment, accountability, and operational excellence.
- Support the implementation of people initiatives such as succession planning, coaching, and recognition programs.
**2.
BSC Setup & Transitions**
- Contribute to the planning and execution of the Mexico BSC launch, including infrastructure, org design, and governance.
- Drive and coordinate the end-to-end transition of finance and commercial functions into the BSC, ensuring structured knowledge transfer and no disruption to business operations.
- Collaborate with general and regional leaders to establish standardized processes, controls, and service frameworks.
**3.
Operational Delivery**
- Ensure the effective and timely delivery of key shared services across the Americas region:
- Maintain service quality and compliance with internal controls, US GAAP, SOX, and company policies.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
- Champion automation, process simplification, and standardization initiatives to drive efficiency and scalability.
**4.
Governance, Compliance & Risk Management**
- Partner with internal audit, compliance, and control teams to ensure a robust governance and risk framework is in place and regularly assessed.
- Support internal and external audits, and ensure timely remediation of findings
- Proactively maintain compliance with legal, tax, and regulatory requirements relevant to the BSC's operations in Mexico and supported regions.
**5.
Site & Facilities Management**
- Act as Site Manager for the Mexico BSC, ensuring a safe, compliant, and well-managed work environment.
- Oversee relationships with facility vendors and service providers in coordination with corporate real estate and procurement.
- Support business continuity planning and disaster recovery readiness.
**6.
Stakeholder & Business Partner Engagement**
- Serve as the primary operational contact for finance and business stakeholders across North America and LATAM.
- Collaborate with the BSC Director, global process owners, and corporate functions to ensure strategic and operational alignment.
- Actively contribute to a global BSC community of practice, sharing insights and aligning on enterprise priorities.
**Qualifications & Skills**
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
