We are looking for a Senior Manager, Risk & Compliance to lead and strengthen the Risk & Compliance function across CHEP Latin America.
This is a highly visible leadership role with regional impact, partnering closely with executive stakeholders, Group functions, and country leadership teams.
You will be accountable for the end‐to‐end Risk Management Framework, compliance governance, internal controls, and fraud and AML programs across multiple countries.
The role reports to the Regional Risk, Compliance & Resilience Business Partner – Americas and is based in Mexico City, leading a team of experienced analysts.
What you'll be responsible for
Lead the Risk Management Framework for CHEP Latin America, identifying, monitoring, and reporting principal business and operational risks
Act as main liaison with Brambles Internal Audit, supporting audit planning, responses, remediation, and issue closure
Ensure full compliance with Anti‐Money Laundering (AML) regulations across the region
Own the Management Declarations, Financial Minimum Control Standards (FMCS) and Delegations of Authority process for all LATAM entities
Manage the Regional Fraud Risk Assessment and Fraud Risk Register
Oversee property data validation supporting the Brambles insurance strategy
Manage and continuously improve the SOP repository,
supporting control awareness and onboarding across functions
Partner closely with Group Risk, Group Insurance, Finance, and regional leadership teams
Lead, coach, and develop a high‐performing team of Risk & Compliance professionals
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
MBA or postgraduate degree highly desirable
Professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, CRMA are a plus
7–10 years of experience in risk, internal audit, compliance, internal controls, or finance within a multinational environment
At least 5 years of people management experience
Strong ability to influence senior stakeholders in a matrix organization
Proven ability to manage complexity, ambiguity, and multiple priorities
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship‐building skills
Languages
Fluent Spanish and English required
Portuguese is a plus
