The Importation Leader will work closely with internal teams, external vendors, and customersKey ResponsibilitiesOversee the transportation of goods, ensuring timely deliveries, route optimization, and cost-effective shipping methodsSupervise warehousing activities, including inventory control, storage, order picking, and stock rotationCollaborate with suppliers, vendors, and customers to ensure timely and accurate deliveriesDevelop and manage logistics budgets, monitor transportation and warehousing expenses, and find cost-saving opportunitiesIdentify cost-saving opportunities in logistics operations, including optimizing shipping routes, minimizing inventory holding costs, and improving warehouse efficienceLead and manage logistics teams, including drivers, warehouse staff, and coordinatorProvide training and development opportunities to staff members, ensuring high performanceDevelop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs)
