**Communications Manager Global Business**
**Role Purpose. **HSBC is accelerating plans to transform, building on agility, innovation and customer centricity to open up a world of opportunity. This role is part of the Internal Communications function. The role is responsible for the planning and implementation of employee communications strategies for Wholesale Business within the region, in support of their strategic goals. The ultimate goal is to drive improvements in employee engagement and contribute to business growth.
**Main activities**:
- _Develop internal communications strategy plan and programmes that deliver employee and business outcomes. _This includes any proposition development and support driving key business initiatives.
- _Geographical Remit: Local and Regional._
- _Responsible for executing internal communications campaigns for key business projects.
- _Create valuable content and relevant messages using story-telling to engage employees about the progress and priorities of the Global Business, aligned to our purpose, strategies and values.
- _Manage face to face and digital events for large audiences._
- _Provide people managers briefings and materials that inform and mobilise employees.
- _Manage data analytics insight to turn into improvements on communications strategies.




- _Consider the external implications of implementing employee communications campaigns and projects and collaborate with media relations colleagues on external messages to mitigate risks._
- _The role holder must support achievement of the HSBC vision, values, goals and culture in personal behavior, actions and decision making._
**Requirements**:
**Knowledge & Experience**:
- A proven track record in developing, managing and implementing employee communication plans translating into solid and practical delivery programmes.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, including the ability to work confidently and effectively with senior executives across regional/general geographies.
- A strong team player who can work collaboratively with peers and manage and deliver excellent performance from teams and individuals.
- Excellent interpersonal, strategic planning and project management skills.
- Hands-on experience in creating content across different channels.
- Ability to transform complex business initiatives into simple, strategically sound and insight led stories.
- Strong knowledge of communication trends and best practice.
- Degree level qualification in Communications and/or business studies preferred.
- High level of English language skills required.
- 5-7-years business experience within a Financial Service institution, or an innovative customer/service institution.
