The Project Engineer is responsible of new projects management, development and implementation.
**Essential Functions**
- Lead and coordinate engineering projects for the plant
- Review product design for compliance with engineering principles, corporate standards and specifications
- Leads the technical development, scheduling, budgeting of engineering projects
- Controls CAPEX budget
- New projects evaluation and assessment of feasibility
- Ensure project management to minimize risks
**Competencies**
- High speed assembly, manufacturing or food industry experience. more than one area is preferred.
- Prior experience creating budgets and managing CapEx projects.
- Highly Collaborative: highly accountable and autonomous and naturally works well with the team to seek innovative solutions and can identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to meet the company’s goals.
- Ability to build strong, positive rapport with associates in a team environment; ability to lead through personal example that communicates integrity, core values and consistency in decision-making.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment and to manage multiple projects/priorities to meet specific goals & deadlines.
- Project management: successfully completes projects in a timely fashion.

- Advanced data analysis capabilities including an understanding of statistics.
- Microsoft Office Products high comfort level is a must. (Including Excel and Project).
- AutoCAD familiarity and experience
**Education**
**_Minimum Required: _**
- Bachelor's Degree In Mechanical, Electrical or any related discipline of engineering.
**_Preferred: _**
- Master's Degree: Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Automation
**Foreign Language**
- English: Full Professional Proficiency
- Spanish: Native or Bilingual Proficiency
