**About our client**
We are currently working with a seasoned private equity real estate in Mexico with solid presence in the real estate sector. Our client is seeking a VP of strategy, portfolio management & transactions to oversee fund and debt raising, corporate finance, M&A; and capital markets, as well as the investment portfolio management. This position is based in Mexico City.
**What the job involves**
- Actively participate in capital raising, deal sourcing, through the investment process until execution
- Work closely with senior management coordinating strategic planning and resource allocation
- Monitor and review reports on progress and performance of the fund
- Support the management team in overseeing strategy, budgeting, risk, talent, compensation, and M&A; initiatives
- Take an active part in outlining and implementing the fund’s future strategy




- Overlook and analyze assets’ performance, ensuring the portfolio is on track, mitigating potential issues
- Represent the fund to the market, to partners and to all applicable stakeholders and relevant authorities
- Build and maintain relationships through the real estate sector and liaise with internal teams
**Who we are looking for**
- Experience in the investment process from capital raising to execution
- Solid experience in M&A;, portfolio management, and tax
- Strong skills in due diligence, financial modeling, and valuations
- Analytical, organized, and self-driven
- Attention to detail
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish
