**About our client**
Our client is a integral private equity fund with a solid presence in the industrial real estate throughout Mexico. The fund has created an exciting new position as a Deputy Controller. You will have an opportunity to lead a team overseeing day-to-day operations. The role is based in Mexico City.
**What the job involves**

- Assist in the preparation and review of quarterly, and year-end financial statements under IFRS.
- Ensure timely reporting of all monthly and annual financial information.
- Manage the monthly and annual audit reports and documents.
- Assist leadership in the annual budgeting and planning process.
- Track payments against budget and forecasts.
- Review and analyze existing policies and procedures for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Create and present financial and tax strategy recommendations to senior management.
- Review compliance reporting.




- Supervise and develop staff (establish performance standards and expectations for staff and review work assignments both in-progress and when completed)
- Manage external consultants, service providers, and commercial counterparties, including auditors, legal counsel, and tax advisors.
**Who we are looking for**
- Solid experience in accounting management, tax and/or financial reporting. Knowledge of the real estate sector is desirable.
- Ample knowledge about IFRS, international accounting, MEX GAAP, and tax.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- Experience building and leading high performing teams.
- Exceptional interpersonal and team leadership skills.
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
