**Chief Accountant: FinTech**
- **The Role**:_
This role is pivotal in supporting our **FinTech's** mission by **managing financial records**, **analyzing financial data**, and **ensuring best practices in our financial processes**.
- **To succeed in this role, we expect you to have**:_
- Degree in Accountancy/Finance or equivalent.
- **Minimum of 3 years’ experience in FinTech **or prior experience in an online lending company is advantageous.
- CPA or ACCA certification is required.
- Proficient in advanced Excel and accounting software, **with experience in cross-border payments**.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
- **Your main duties and responsibilities**:_
1. Document and manage financial transactions in accounting software.
2. Design and implement document flow, including e-signed documents.
3. Audit financial transactions and contracts to substantiate financial transactions.
4. Analyze accounting options and recommend financial actions, consulting with experts as needed.
5. Manage and verify payments, including cross-border transactions.
6. Oversee loan issuance, repayment, and write-offs, ensuring reconciliation with various reports and financial statements.
7. Manage accounting provisions under local standards and IFRS 9, and oversee bad debt write-offs.

Collaborate with IT for accounting automation and software integration.
9. Lead monthly fast closing processes and report financial statements to headquarters.
10. Prepare and analyze financial reports, including cash flow statements, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets.
11. Conduct budget preparation and manage budget vs. presente analysis.
12. Ensure financial compliance and lead audits.
13. Maintain financial security and internal controls.
14. Guide and support accounting staff.
