Electrical (HW) Design - Working independently and providing guidance to less experienced engineers.
- This includes but not limited to support on the preparation of Documents such as calculations, design specifications, Description of Operations, and Test Specification, Attendance and Active Participation in the preparation of documents for Technical Reviews and his presentation Internally and with Customers
- Lead and/or active participation on Technical Reviews (Internal and for Customer)
- Review and evaluate lower-level engineers work, support clearing them questions/doubts and giving them recommendations/best practices.
Software Design - Working independently and providing guidance to less experienced engineers.
- Design semi-complex conveyor controls software using programming tools such as AB Logix Designer, Siemens TIA Portal/Step 7, etc.
- Create Output Documents for Commissioning such as Commissioning Checklists, IP Spreadsheets, Configuration files, others.
- Design of Functional Safety of Machinery Programs following both Dematic and Industrial Safety Standards.
Commissioning Details - Working independently and leading on-site commissioning.
- Attend daily planning/safety meetings.
- Contact manager and project lead while on site.
- Compile information into detailed technical reports.
- Report & take action in the resolution of on-site issues.
- Report & follow up any complex issues with responsible party.
- Follow punch list and update accordingly.
- Create action items in punch list.
- Submits accurate and timely reports of travel expenses, hours worked, and commissioning activities.
- Report & track on safety issues during field operation.




- Reports a comprehensive performance feedback on engineering peers.
- Share technical knowledge with engineering peers.
- Participate on Continuous improvement initiatives.
- Responsible to coordinate field engineering teams, mechanical & controls, for project execution.
Performs as point of contact for less experienced engineers, on commissioning & administrative activities.

- BS/BA in electrical engineering or advanced degree.
- 8+ years of successful experience in related field.
- Demonstrates and applies a broad knowledge of field of specialization through successful completion of moderately complex assignments.
- Demonstrates knowledge of organization's business practices and issues.
- Proficient in AutoCAD.
- Proficient in either Rockwell or Siemens PLCs.
- Knowledgeable on AC drives, both open & closed loop.
- Experience in Ethernet IP network design and machine safety a plus.
