**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Understands the products, suggesting ideas and improvements back to group.
- Assists with creation, reviewing, and systems-entry of new product specifications, ECNs, tests, procedures, user manuals, submittal drawings, and sales literature.
- Creates/modifies mechanical drawings/parts in CAD systems, such as CREO.
- Assists with troubleshooting of escalated or re-occurring field issues.
- Performs lab testing of products.Works closely with technicians and junior engineers, providing technical support and guidance.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- 5 - 7 years of engineering product development with experience of prototyping.
- Sheetmetal design/manufacture knowledgeable.
- Knowledge of mechanical concepts, products, safety, and test-methods.
- Ability to follow, create, and organize testing and instructional procedures.




- Data-entry systems familiarity & BOM Creation Experience - Oracle, Agile, etc.
- Mechanical CAD tools experience.
- Intermediate MBD (Model Based Definition) experience preferred.
- CREO preferred.
- Troubleshooting skills with the ability to solve (and prevent) a wide range of problems quickly and logically.
- Good planning, organizing, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and operate in cross functional General Development Teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a Team.
- Fluency in EnglishBasic electrical and thermal experience a plus.
