**Job Summary**
**Responsibilities**
- Lead the development and execution of test plans and test cases to ensure the highest quality of software deliverables.
- Oversee the implementation of automated testing frameworks and tools to enhance testing efficiency.
- Provide detailed test metrics and reporting to stakeholders to ensure transparency and continuous improvement.
- Manage test and defect management processes using Jira to track and resolve issues effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of testing activities within Agile methodologies.
- Utilize Ruby for scripting and automation tasks to streamline testing processes.
- Ensure comprehensive test coverage by identifying and prioritizing test scenarios based on risk and impact.
- Conduct regular reviews of test cases and scripts to ensure they meet the required standards and best practices.
- Mentor and guide junior testers to enhance their skills and knowledge in test automation and management.




- Coordinate with developers and product owners to understand requirements and provide timely feedback on potential issues.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize testing processes and tools.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in software testing.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging trends and technologies in test automation and management.
**Qualifications**
- Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in test automation test metrics and reporting and test and defect management.
- Demonstrate proficiency in using Jira for test and defect management.
- Exhibit expertise in scripting and automation using Ruby.
- Show domain knowledge in Property & Casualty Insurance and Life and Annuities Insurance (nice to have).
- Display excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a hybrid work model.
- Hold a relevant certification in software testing or test automation (e.g. ISTQB Certified Agile Tester).
