- We are seeking an experienced Supply Analyst with 5-8 years of expertise in supply chain management to join our team. In this role, you will take on a strategic role in inventory forecasting, optimizing inventory levels across our network, and proactively identifying potential supply issues such as material shortages or excess. You will leverage your experience to create data-driven recommendations that enhance inventory efficiency and develop a comprehensive playbook for managing escalations due to supply shortages. This position requires close collaboration with internal teams to streamline supply chain operations, minimize disruptions, and uphold customer satisfaction. As a seasoned professional,
you’ll have the opportunity to lead process improvements and play a key role in our efforts to optimize overall supply chain performance.
**Responsibilities**: Inventory Forecasting**
- ** Forecast Inventory Levels**:
Use data analysis to develop accurate inventory forecasts based on historical data, customer contracts, and product failure rates.
- ** Facilitate meetings with planning teams**:
Review projections and performance to corporate turns goals with regional teams
- ** Communicate projections for supply chain leadership**:
Prepare presentations for senior leadership showing latest inventory projections by business unit and geography
**Inventory Optimization**
- ** Analyze Inventory Data**:
Dive into inventory trends and patterns, using data to make recommendations on how to optimize stock levels across the network, minimizing both overstock and shortages.
- ** Make Recommendations for Improvement**:
Work closely with the planning team to suggest improvements to our inventory management practices. Help to ensure efficient use of resources and cost savings across the network.
- ** Contribute to Continuous Improvement**:
Participate in projects that focus on enhancing inventory management processes. You will play a key role in identifying new ways to improve operational efficiency.
**Escalation Management for Shortages**
- ** Create an Escalation Playbook**:
Build a comprehensive playbook that outlines steps for managing escalations related to supply shortages. This playbook will cover how to assess impacts on customers and revenue, as well as strategies for recovery.
- ** Assess Impact on Customers and Revenue**:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate how supply shortages or disruptions might impact customer satisfaction, revenue, and overall business performance.
- ** Develop Recovery Plans**:
Work with supply chain, procurement, and operations teams to create actionable recovery plans for material shortages. This will help mitigate risks, minimize customer disruptions, and maintain revenue continuity.
**Qualifications**: Required Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations management, business administration, or a related field.
- Minimum Work Experience: 5-8 Years in Supply Chain or Finance
- ** Fluent level of English (written and verbal)**
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Proficiency in data analysis tools, such as Excel or inventory management software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to mentor and guide junior analysts.
- Demonstrated experience in optimizing inventory levels and driving strategic insights.
- Knowledge of inventory management policies and procedures.
- International Supply Chain experience in service and/or manufacturing a plus
