**Job Summary**:
We are looking for an exceptionally driven and ambitious individual to join our team as a Team Leader, Logistics. This outstanding opportunity allows you to successfully implement and manage outstanding logistics strategies, ensuring that our supply chain operations are flawless and efficient. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards and optimizing our processes to excel in the general market.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Ensure the quality of all services provided meets required standards.
- Develop transportation processes to make the supply chain more efficient and organized.
- Coordinate sterilization truck loads.
- Develop a receiving and shipping schedule for vendors and transportation providers.
- Plan sterilization workload delivery schedules to maintain product flow and reduce backlog risks.
- Work with transportation providers to reduce costs, quote services, and provide alternative solutions to ensure shipping capacity.
- Coordinate with shipping manufacturing warehouse, import/export, production, transportation providers,
and external sterilization vendors.
- Provide support to warehouse, purchasing, and 3PL for inventory management.
- Coordinate logistics for transportation of all Thermo Fisher Tijuana shipping points.
- Communicate sterilization plans for different suppliers and follow up on materials in transit.
- Handle special shipments and follow up on urgent cargo deliveries.
- Develop a comprehensive logistics plan for the entry and exit of trucks from the Tijuana plant.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to respond to customer inquiries and refer clients to appropriate channels.
- Proficient in reviewing purchase orders and shipping documents for accuracy.
- Capability to make special shipping arrangements as necessary.
- Skill in tracking and fixing shipping errors.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a diverse and inclusive environment.
