Conversational English is a must as you will be reporting to non-Spanish speakers.
Job Responsibilities
Prepare financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement).
Accounts debugging.
Participate in monthly, quarterly and annual accounting and fiscal closings.
Reporting in English
Develop internal controls or improvements in the Finance area.
Basic to intermediate knowledge of federal, state and municipal tax regulations.
Presentation of electronic accounting.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree as Public Accountant or related (Degree and Certificate).
Minimum 8 years of work experience in the accounting area.
Proficiency and use of Financial Reporting Standards (NIF).
Experience in Mexican accounting software (COMPAQ, NOI).
Advanced Excel spreadsheet management.
Management of work teams.
Experience in general accounting functions
Critical thinking and analytical skills
**Desirable**: Experience working in foreign companies.
**Complementary studies**: Conversational English, computer and invoicing programs, ERP, CONTPAQ.
