**More about the role**:
This is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as a **Supply Chain Analyst in Monterr**ey with Cooper Lighting Solutions.**
**As Jr. Supply Chain Analyst,**you’ll be responsible for managing the purchasing of poles via an off-site vendor. This role will support the Poles supply chain leader in fulfilling customer orders for both Quick Ship and MTO Poles Programs.
**Supplier Order Management Leader (Primary Responsibility)**:
- Manage the end-to-end supply chain for BFR poles and accessories product lines.
- Ensure day-to-day BFR orders with suppliers are current within SAP, providing Customer Service with visibility to dating and tracking information.
- Maintain engineering change orders with updates to purchase orders, expediting, dating, and invoicing in collaboration with the Poles and Accessories Technical Lead.
- Negotiate pricing improvements with Procurement Commodity Management when order quantities exceed supplier price guidance.
- Interface with customer service on order types (quick ship, ship direct, stock).
- Maintain material and purchasing master data
**Purchasing Maintenance (Secondary Responsibility)**:
- Primary back-up for the supply chain leader for Poles - over all purchasing activity in the event the lead supply chain resource is out of the office.
- Support automation and process improvements, such as EDI.
- Reconcile changes in shipping locations or delivery issues with Customer Service and suppliers.
