**Position**: Quality Systems Coordinator
**Location**: Monterrey, Actual León
**Summary**:
- Leadership to Monterrey plant Quality Systems, coordinate operative group to closely align efforts and measure performance of quality systems in the operative areas from Monterrey plant as audit requirements. Enabler for our site to use the structure of quality and transforms our plant better understand customer quality requirements. Creates alignment and commitment with our global quality initiatives, which is set to deliver improved performance consistency, standards consistency, customer satisfaction.
**Major duties & Responsibilities**:
- Execution of FSQS internal programs to comply with the British Retail Consortium (BRC) Food Safety and Quality framework.
- Execution the Monterrey plant food safety and quality systems programs and compliance, as well as local policy setting.
- Leads and develops the internal audit program to standardize quality systems and food safety personnel and programs across Monterrey faciliti, including best practice utilization.
- Leader of traceability and recovery exercises, support in real situations to Quality Management Identify the root cause of failures in the quality system, in such a way that it defines actions to eliminate deviations together with the equipment.
- Communication with internal staff to work together to solve the deviations detected
- Communication with the client to follow up on audit reports
- Assures compliance to the religious audits (kosher,Halal).
- Ensures alignment of documents control of operative systems Monterrey plant
- Assures compliance to the internal programs as training program,GMPs,Food defense, Food fraud,allergen control, kosher program, etc
- Conducts supplier audits as well as supplier/raw material approvals
- Participation in the HACCP team, covering the leadership of the team in the absence of a Quality Manager
- Coordinate external audits (target, government and special requirements (kosher, Halal, etc.)
- Keep quality system food safety procedures and programs up to date
- Identify the root cause of failures in the quality system, in such a way that it defines actions to eliminate deviations together with the equipment.
- Communication with internal staff to work together to solve the deviations detected.
- Communication with the client to follow up on audit reports.
**Knowledge and Experience**:
- Bachelor of Science of foods or equivalent degree.
- 3-5 years related experience in the food industry and the food safety and quality systems functions.
- Knowledge of: internal audit program, quality systems, allergen control, traceability, recall, GMPs programs, preventive control, corrective actions programs,
third party audit and GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative).
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Proficient in MS Office Skills, such as Word and Excel.
- Bilingual.
