Responsibilities: Define, implement, and oversee a comprehensive test automation strategy that aligns with the organization's objectives and supports continuous deployment practices
- Collaborate with development teams to guide them in writing effective automated tests using frameworks such as Cypress, ensuring that quality is integrated into the development process
- Extend test automation practices into production environments by implementing advanced testing strategies, including Canary testing, blue-green deployments, and chaos engineering
- Analyze and address challenges related to high-load and distributed environments, ensuring that testing environments accurately reflect production conditions
- Establish policies related to rollback strategies, API versioning, interface, and contract testing to minimize risks associated with deployment
- Facilitate cross-team collaboration to ensure a unified approach to test automation and continuous improvement across all engineering teams
- Create and maintain documentation related to testing strategies and automation frameworks to enhance transparency and understanding of QA processes within the organization
- Requirements:



Proven experience in a Test Automation Architect or similar role, with a strong focus on automation testing methodologies and best practices
- In-depth knowledge of microservices architecture and experience working in high-load, distributed environments
- Proficiency in automation tools and frameworks, particularly with Cypress, as well as familiarity with Java, JUnit and other testing frameworks
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices, particularly using tools like Bamboo
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing complex testing challenges
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and influence best practices
- Experience with cloud environments (AWS preferred) and knowledge of legacy systems will be a plus
- Nice to have: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Familiarity with chaos engineering practices and techniques
- Previous experience in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
