**Mission**
The Compensation Manager is tasked with the development and oversight of Epiroc’s compensation structures to ensure they are competitive, equitable, and aligned with the strategic goals of the organization. This role is critical in designing and administering compensation programs that effectively attract and retain top talent while maintaining cost effectiveness and compliance across the Americas.
**Key Tasks and Responsibilities**
**1. Strategic Planning and Execution**
o Develop and implement comprehensive compensation strategies that support the business objectives.
- Ensure alignment of compensation programs with Epiroc’s overall strategic goals.
- Conduct regular market analysis to maintain competitiveness and adherence to industry standards.
**2. Compensation Management**
o Design and oversee the administration of salary structures, incentive programs, and job evaluations.
- Manage the annual salary review process, including benchmarking, salary adjustments, and incentive allocations.
- Provide expert guidance and support on compensation matters to HR teams and senior management.
- Participate in global initiatives related to the compensation.
**3. Integral Mobility**
o Collaborate with International Compensation & Benefits team and local HR to define compensation aspects of the global mobility program in the LATAM countries, including expatriate compensation packages.
- Ensure compliance with relevant international compensation regulations and company policies.
**4. Data Analysis and Reporting**
o Analyze and report on compensation data to inform decision-making and strategic adjustments.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior leadership highlighting the effectiveness and competitiveness of compensation programs.
**5. Compliance and Governance**
o Ensure that all compensation practices comply with applicable laws and regulations.
- Develop and maintain compensation policies and procedures, conducting regular audits to ensure adherence and identify improvement opportunities.
6. Stakeholder Engagement
o Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure the compensation strategy supports business needs.
**7. Team Leadership**
o Lead and develop a team of compensation professionals, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
**Knowledge Requirements**
- Extensive knowledge of compensation structures, benchmarking methodologies, and regulatory compliance.
- Familiarity with global compensation practices and mobility challenges.
**Education & Experience Requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in compensation management, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Experience in a global organization and familiarity with global assignment management.
- Prior experience working in a service center/center of excellence environment.
- Demonstrated experience implementing process improvement initiatives or re-engineering processes.
- Proven ability to analyze issues/problems, identify root causes, and implement solutions.
- Experience successfully managing projects, including meeting project milestones and cost.
