**Key Responsibilities**: _**Procurement & Sourcing**:_ Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for raw materials, ensuring alignment with company quality and cost objectives. ** ** Develop and implement procurement strategies to secure key chemical raw materials at competitive prices. Monitor market trends, supply conditions, and pricing to make informed purchasing decisions. ** ** Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements related to chemical procurement. Create and update Purchase Orders using QAD and SAP.** ** Create internal reports in Excel. Order samples for raw materials and track shipments.
- **Supplier Management & Negotiation: **_** ** Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, terms, and pricing to optimize costs and service levels. Manage supplier performance, ensuring compliance with quality, delivery, and sustainability standards. ** ** Mitigate supply risks by developing alternative sources and ensuring continuity of supply.
- **Inventory & Cost Control: **_** ** ** ** Collaborate with production, planning, and inventory teams to ensure optimal raw material stock levels. ** ** Monitor inventory usage and coordinate with stakeholders to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- **Track and report key procurement metrics, driving cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.Compliance & Documentation: **_** ** Ensure all purchases comply with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards. Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and supplier agreements.



Support audits and compliance reviews related to raw material sourcing.Qualifications &
- **Requirements**:_ ** **
- ** *Advance knowledge of the English language. ** *
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Chemistry, or a related field. ** **:
- ** 2+ years of experience in procurement, preferably within the chemical, manufacturing, or industrial sector. **
- Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills. ** **:
- ** Knowledge of chemical raw materials, supply chain logistics, and integral sourcing strategies. **
- Familiarity with procurement software (QAD, SAP, ERP systems) and Microsoft Office Suite. ** **:
- ** Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. **
- Ability to travel internationally up to 25% of the time.
- **Experience with international sourcing and supplier management. ** Understanding of regulatory frameworks for chemical products in USA and Mexico. ** **:
- **Professional certifications (CPSM, CIPS, or APICS) are a plus but not essential.**
