Financial Analyst
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
This position is responsible for providing support to MDC's finance and accounting department as assigned on a project basis. The position is temporary at the department's disposal.
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field.
- 1- 3 years of general accountant experience in a complex global environment.
- 1- 3 years of experience in the manufacturing industry.
- High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel skills at an intermediate level, including V lookups and creating pivot tables.
- Advanced English.
**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Verify the accuracy of invoices received and their correspondence with orders and receipts.
- Perform monthly bank account reconciliations to ensure internal records match statements.
- Record and validate new vendor information in the accounting system.




- Maintain communication with customers and suppliers to inform them of their payment status.
- Assist in preparing documentation and resolving queries during audits.
- Assist in administrative tasks and preparation of financial reports.
- Confirm that invoices, purchase orders and receipts match before processing payments.
- Review and resolve discrepancies in vendor statements to ensure proper reconciliation.
