As a Localization Projects Buyer you will manage the pricing of formulas manufactured at any of PPGs integral plants, and those intended to be produced at local plants in Mexico or the region to supply the local or regional market.
You will report to Americas Specialty Raw Materials Manager and Team Leader.
**Key Responsibilities**
- You will gather commercial data on formula materials and shares it during the biweekly status meeting, which involves participants from support areas such as Commerce, Logistics and Operations Procurement.
- Be a main contact between the Category Manager and BU coordinator to discuss potential price impacts on the formulas.
- Once formula implementation is approved the Localization Specialist supports supplier setup, BPS’s creation, and coordinates with the department to guarantee a smooth process flow.
**Qualifications**
- 3+ years of experience in the chemical industry.
- Bachelor's degree engineering or management.
- 3+ years of experience coordinating relocation processes.
- Negotiation with international suppliers.
- Fluent English.
- Price Analysis.
