Collaborate within an agile team providing input for product backlog, sprint planning, story development and testing, demos, and team retrospective
- Provide estimates and timelines for test automation and projects
- Define, establish, extend and maintain test automation libraries, frameworks and tooling solutions, primarily focused on Automated Smoke, Functional and Regression Testing efforts
- Create and execute system, regression, and integrated tests across multiple environments as changes are promoted and staged for production
- Develop and execute test automation scripts using tools/frameworks
- Incorporate test automation into CI / CD process
- Gain test script sign off from QA/Dev Managers on the test scripts.
- Provide training and guidance for QA practices and the automation efforts
- Depending on size and complexity of project, may also be assigned to perform duties of project
Functional & Technical Skills:
- Ability to convert complex business, technical requirements and use cases to test cases and test plans
- Experience working on cloud and digital platforms
- Experience with Lean and Agile methodologies & eXtreme Programming
- Experience collaborating with product managers, engineers, designers, and product owners
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt your communication style to the audience




- Ability to work collaboratively and navigate complex decision making in a rapidly changing environment

- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in development of automation test cases preferable in a SaaS environment.
- P&C; Insurance industry experience required
- Strong hands-on experience with Cypress, Selenium or RestAssured for automation frameworks.
- Superior Javascript skills required
- Experience working directly with JMeter, LoadRunner, Karate API, YAML, Postman
- Superior knowledge of agile best practices, continuous testing in a CI/CD environment such as GCP DevOps
- Experience with SCM tools like GitHub, JIRA, familiarity with SQL
- Experience with Cucumber (BDD) is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of Cloud Architecture, Cloud Security; Cloud platforms
- Strong communication skills; must be able to work in a self-driven manner within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
