GC Realty & Development is seeking a detail-driven, results-focused **Operations Manager** to lead our remote operations team and scale the processes behind a portfolio of 1,300+ rental units.

**The Opportunity**:
As our Operations Manager, you'll be the driving force behind a remote operations team that supports the day-to-day of residential property management. From leasing and renewals to maintenance coordination and collections, your focus will be on leading people, strengthening systems, and using data to drive meaningful results.

**What You'll Do**:
**Lead a High-Performing Remote Team**:
- Directly manage a team of remote professionals across multiple functions: renewals, collections, utilities, licenses, billing reviews, and work order approvals.
- Set clear goals and expectations, while fostering accountability and ownership in a distributed environment.
**Build and Improve SOPs**:
- Create, document, and enhance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to improve consistency, reduce bottlenecks, and scale operations across a remote infrastructure.
**Own the Numbers**:
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure your team is hitting targets. Use data insights to identify issues, surface trends, and recommend improvements.




**Collaborate Across Teams**:
- Work closely with leasing, maintenance, accounting, and customer service teams to ensure seamless execution and communication across departments.
**Coach for Accountability and Growth**:
- Provide structured coaching, feedback, and support to help each team member thrive. Create a culture of high performance, even without a shared office.
**Step In When Needed**:
- Fill operational gaps, manage process transitions, and step up during busy seasons or unexpected changes to ensure business continuity.

**What We're Looking For**:
**Operational Leadership** - 5+ years in operations, with at least 3 years managing a team of 8+ team members
**Process-First Thinking** - You build, document, and refine workflows that reduce friction and boost results
**Remote Management Expertise** - You're comfortable driving performance and engagement with a distributed team
**Strong Analytical Mindset** - You use data to guide decisions and continuously improve team output
**Collaborative Communicator** - You keep all parties informed and aligned, especially in high-volume situations
**Calm Under Pressure** - You maintain clarity and focus even when the pace picks up or the unexpected happens
**Nice to Have (Encouraged but Not Required)**:




Experience working in **residential property management or real estate.**
Familiarity with lease renewals, maintenance coordination, or rent collections.
Understanding of local rental compliance requirements, utilities, or licensing.
Previous use of PM tools or systems (e.g., AppFolio, Buildium, Yardi, Propertyware).
Ability to navigate owner/resident relationships and competing priorities.
