**Title: DevOps Engineer - Deployment DRI (Directly Responsible Individual)**
**Location: Mexico (Remote)**

DevOps Engineer - Deployment DRI (Directly Responsible Individual) is responsible for overseeing and managing the deployment processes for Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) services. This role ensures that deployments are executed smoothly, efficiently, and in compliance with established guidelines. The Deployment DRI will work closely with various AVD teams, including service engineers, on-call cleared engineers, and service owners, to ensure successful deployments and address any issues that arise during the process.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Deployment Management**:
- Plan, execute, and monitor deployments to various environments such as Integration (INT) and Production (PROD).
- Ensure deployments are carried out efficiently and address any issues that arise during the process.
- Obtain necessary approvals before starting deployments and validate the health of the deployment.
- **Collaboration**:
- Work closely with service engineers, on-call cleared engineers, and service owners to ensure successful deployments.
- Coordinate with various AVD teams to address any blockers or issues during the deployment process.




- **Monitoring and Reporting**:
- Monitor the deployment process to ensure no issues arise and validate the health of the deployment.
- Provide regular updates and reports on the status of deployments to relevant stakeholders.
- **Incident Management**:
- Address any issues that arise during the deployment process immediately and prioritize DRI responsibilities over other tasks.
- Log defects, assign them based on root cause analysis, and drive positive changes to improve customer experience.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in managing deployment processes, preferably in a DevOps environment.
- Strong understanding of Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) services and related technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to address issues promptly.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with various teams.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
