We are looking for a talented and driven **Data Engineer**to join our team.
In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining and improving our data systems while ensuring they align with evolving business needs. You will work with complex datasets and collaborate on impactful projects to enhance our Data Platform, adapting to technological advancements along the way.
**Responsibilities**
- Support and improve existing data infrastructure
- Build and implement updates to the current Data Platform
- Adapt systems to meet increasing data consumption and ingestion demands
- Handle complex datasets, including creating new datasets from the ground up
- Work closely with senior team members on key projects, particularly those involving large datasets
- Stay current with emerging tools and technologies to ensure continuous improvement
**Requirements**:
- At least 2 years of experience in Data Software Engineering
- Strong expertise in PySpark
- Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks, Azure DevOps, and Azure Event Hubs
- Solid understanding of the Azure cloud ecosystem
- Proven ability to work with large and complex datasets
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills to engage with various stakeholders
- Familiarity with Databricks Unity Catalog and Terraform
**Nice to have**
- Background in Azure Analytics Engineering
- Understanding of DevOps principles and practices
