**Description**
Alvarez & Marsal Mexico is currently seeking a **Tax Controversy Intern** to join our Mexico City office. This position is designed for recent graduates who are interested in gaining hands-on experience in tax litigation, defense strategies, and administrative procedures before tax authorities.
**Who will you be working with?**

The Tax Controversy team works closely with national and international clients, providing legal defense and strategic support throughout audits, administrative procedures, and litigation.

**Qualifications**
- Recent graduate in **Law**:
- Preferably with 6 months to 1 year of prior experience in a legal, or tax-related role.
- Strong interest in tax law, administrative procedures, and legal defense.
- ** Advanced English** (required - capable of reviewing and drafting legal documents in English).
- Excellent legal writing, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Proactive attitude, ability to work under pressure, and strong interpersonal skills.
**How you'll contribute**
- Support the preparation of legal briefs, claims, responses, and other procedural documents.
- Conduct legal and tax research on current laws, court precedents, and administrative criteria.
- Assist in the analysis of tax audits, assessments, and defense strategies.
- Help prepare presentations for internal use and for clients or authorities.
- Collaborate with other tax service lines to deliver integrated solutions.
