** Role: Assistance Finance Senior**
**Responsibilities and Impact**:
This role will be a key member of the finance team, directly supporting the senior business line leadership team and contributing to strategic financial decision-making.
**Responsibilities**:
- Primary Responsibility: Ensure the compliance and integrity of accounting information regarding revenue, deferred revenue, and accounts receivable, maintaining accurate financial records and reporting.
- Prepare, review, and ensure compliance of invoices and their complements according to Mexican Tax Laws, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for both customer and internal inquiries, providing expert guidance on accounting matters.
- Deliver exceptional customer service regarding customer refunds, payment forms, discrepancies, tax forms/procedures, payment histories, and statements of account.
- Prepare and record journal entries in accordance with Mexican accounting standards (NIF) and US GAAP, ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Take ownership of month-end processes, including preparation and posting of journals, and thorough preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations related to income and accounts receivable.
- Liaise with external auditors to facilitate timely completion of statutory audits, ensuring all necessary documentation is prepared and available.
- Oversee travel expense controls in compliance with Mexican tax laws, ensuring accuracy and adherence to tax regulations and company policies.
- Integrate and continuously improve accounting and close processes, leveraging technology and best practices.
- Prepare meaningful accounting reports that provide insights into financial performance and assist in the decision-making process.
- Utilize advanced Excel tools, including macros, to streamline processes and improve data analysis capabilities.
- Maintain and enhance knowledge of Oracle Financials and other relevant accounting systems, ensuring effective utilization in daily operations.
- Perform other related tasks as required, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to team objectives.
**What We’re Looking For**:
**Basic Required Qualifications**:
- Strong proficiency in US GAAP and NIF.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in Financial Accounting with a focus on general accounting and tax matters.
- Advanced accounting skills and in-depth knowledge of financial reporting.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Spanish.
- Proven investigative research and analytical capabilities, with a strong attention to detail.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, particularly Excel (including macros).
- Proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach.
**Additional Preferred Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency with Oracle Financials or similar financial systems; experience with Salesforce in an Accounts Receivable environment is a plus.
- Experience in preparing and analyzing financial reports to support business decisions.
