We are seeking a skilled and visionary **Lead Cloud Engineer** to join our technology team and oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of secure and scalable cloud solutions using innovative tools and methodologies.
This role provides an opportunity to tackle complex cloud infrastructure challenges, drive automation efforts, and collaborate across teams to enhance innovation and operational efficiency.
**Responsibilities**
- Design cloud solutions focusing on Azure Networking, Azure Firewall, and Azure Policy while ensuring adherence to security and compliance standards
- Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for flexible and repeatable deployments
- Optimize Continuous Integration systems to enhance development and deployment pipelines
- Address infrastructure and network challenges while directing the team during incidents
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and ensure cloud solutions align with organizational strategies
- Automate manual workflows to boost efficiency and minimize operational overhead
- Improve monitoring, alerting, and on-call protocols for cloud systems
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering skill development and growth
- Participate in architecture reviews and contribute to the development of cloud infrastructure best practices
**Requirements**:
- 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or a related role
- 1+ years of leadership experience
- Expertise in Azure services such as Azure Firewall, Azure Networking, and Azure Policy
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools, with a focus on Terraform
- Contributions to Continuous Integration practices and knowledge of associated tools
- Knowledge of Git branching strategies such as GitFlow, GitOps, and Trunk development
- Background in managing Windows systems and conducting operational troubleshooting
- Familiarity with cloud environments, with Azure as required and additional exposure to AWS or GCP as optional

- Background in working with both Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud Platform
- Proficiency in Agile practices with a focus on Scrum methodologies
- Skills in development with an emphasis on automation
- Understanding of roles and responsibilities within an SRE or Operations team
