Job Summary
- To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an Operations Supervisor located in Guadalajara, North Campus._
- Reporting to the Industrial Engineer, Operations Supervisor role involves_ _being responsible for effectively managing all strategic operational processes and resources and managing an organization in order to achieve and maintain operational excellence._
What a typical day looks like:
- _ Supervises production staff on work method and quality checkpoints._
- _ Coordinates efforts of operations team by establishing procurement, production and engineering services policies and practices._
- _ Ensures ISO and safety standards are adhered._
- _ Leverages industry practices and applies to internal systems and processes._
- _ Provides supervision and direction to subordinate staff and coordinates workflow within major work unit, including distributing work, disseminating information, assigning staff to cover for absences, providing technical assistance, answering questions, and resolving problems within the work unit supervised._
- _ Supervises the development and implementation of training programs within the work unit supervised._
- _ Serves as a liaison between the work unit and other offices and outside agencies for the distribution and collection of information and to resolve operational issues._
- _ Performs reviewing work performance, motivating subordinates to work more effectively, identifying problems with performance and solutions to those problems, defining training needs to improve performance,_
- _ Participates in the hiring and promoting of staff within the work unit supervised, including serving on a panel to interview applicants and making recommendations to superiors._
- _ Prepares and/or processes personnel actions such as promotions, appointments, transfers, leaves of absences._
- _ Coordinates time off requests to ensure adequate coverage._
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- _BA/BS degree._
- _Experience in similar position in manufacturing environment._
- _Experience in the use of Agile._
- _Microsoft office knowledge._
- _Experience in BAAN system (SAP)._
- _Basic english is a plus!_
