We are currently seeking a Remote Azure DevOps Cloud Engineer to join our team in Guadalajara, Jalisco (MX-JAL), Mexico (MX).
**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Identify existing on-prem content that cannot be migrated and must be cleaned up prior to cloud migration.
- Move identified content out of repos to alternate locations to facilitate migration.
- Create strategy for maintaining work item links after migration where possible as well as preserving pipelines with necessary modifications for continued function post-migration.
- Develop processes for cleanup and migration of backlog items, pipelines, repos, etc.
**Skills & Qualifications**:
- Strong proficiency with **Microsoft Azure DevOps** **and Git**.
- Experience using **DevOps APIs**.
- Understanding of differences between **on-prem DevOps and Azure Cloud DevOps**.
- Experience creating scripts and processes to move DevOps content between instances.
**Education & Experience**:
- ** Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field** (or equivalent experience).
- ** 5+ years** of experience in full-stack development with **Microsoft Azure DevOps**.
