We are seeking an experienced **Scrum Master**to join our team and support a client undergoing a transformation process by introducing SAFe practices.
In this role, you will play a critical part in implementing Agile best practices and guiding the team as the client and program mature. This position requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of Agile methodologies to drive team success and deliver high-value outcomes.
**Responsibilities**
- Monitor project timelines and ensure the team stays on track to meet deadlines
- Identify, track, communicate, and escalate risks to ensure they are addressed effectively
- Actively participate in the team’s daily activities to provide guidance and support
- Remove blockers and coach the team to independently resolve impediments
- Collect, analyze, and report metrics to measure team performance and progress
- Facilitate team meetings to ensure they are productive and focused on achieving objectives
- Collaborate with product owners to maintain a healthy and well-prioritized backlog
- Manage stakeholder relationships and align their expectations with team deliverables
- Ensure client satisfaction by delivering high-quality outcomes and addressing concerns
- Resolve conflicts and issues within the team to maintain a positive working environment
- Support the team in achieving higher levels of Agile and Scrum maturity
- Provide coaching and training to team members to foster continuous improvement
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (STEM preferred)
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience as a Scrum Master or Project Manager
- A minimum of 2 years of experience leading teams of at least 5 members in roles such as Architect, Manager, or Product Owner
- Experience participating in at least two full project lifecycles or working on multiple projects covering various development phases
- Strong knowledge and practical experience with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- A strong sense of responsibility, ownership, and teamwork to drive the success of the team
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and mentoring skills to foster collaboration and alignment
- Ability to adapt to dynamic environments and manage changing priorities effectively
- Self-motivated with the ability to stay focused and productive in challenging situations
- Analytical and quick-thinking skills to address challenges and make informed decisions
- Proven ability to prevent and resolve conflicts and misunderstandings within the team
- Expertise in identifying and addressing gaps in Agile/Scrum practices
- Experience with implementing successful Agile techniques to improve team performance
- Advanced English communication skills, both written and spoken, at a B2 level or higher
**Nice to have**
- Previous experience in financial services, bringing domain-specific insights to the role
- Experience supporting Agile transformations and helping organizations adopt Agile practices
- Relevant certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
