About Convatec
About the Role
The HR People Partner is responsible for the execution, assignment, and follow up of the resources needed to carry out the strategy for HR functions as relationships, systems, tools & processes, and organizational capabilities for the Reynosa operations in the two facilities. It will be responsible of proposals, changes, and adjustments of HR strategy to ensure the HR Functions are aligned to business needs.
- Direct, organize and deliver results on all HR-related activities assigned to Reynosa in both facilities.
- Monitor the HR Operations, compensation, change management, workforce planning, recruiting, talent management, training & driving cultural transformation.
- Manage and participate in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies and priorities for assigned programs.
- Responsible for the key HR metrics aligned with the business unit strategies.
- Organizational Development - Conduct investigations, provide resolution plan for employee complaints/concerns, and monitors follow up on action plans with management.
- Supervise Training and Development processes to facilitate employee development aimed at building core competencies in the area.
- Grow and develop the HR staff.
- Represent the company in collective bargaining negotiations & management/union meetings.
- Provide coaching and consulting to business leaders on effective performance management intervention. Provide guidance and direction to plant management on complex business and HR issues.
- Support Culture and Organization Effectiveness through understanding the business strategy and identify opportunities to improve organizational capability within the functional areas and drive culture change to align the organization with the strategy.
- Managing and implementing motivational programs with the goal of improving the employee relationships and making the company the best employer.
- Manage team supporting, cafeteria, medical, security and EHS area
- Promote ethical labor practices compliances.
- Manage the HR budget and drive saving plans.
- Bachelor’s in administration or similar degree, completed.
- Master’s degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, or Business Administration preferable.
- 8+ years of experience in the areas of Human Resources.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as Human Resources Manager.
- Fluent English spoken and written is a requirement.
- Experience in a union environment in manufacturing.
- Demonstrated record of effective project management skills within the HR function.
- Experience in Charge of IMSS paperwork. Handling of HR system Experience in Quality systems Knowledge of HR compliance and legal issues.
- Compliance with document . Interpretation Course in the ISO 14001
