**Responsibilities**:
Drive business decisions based on insights obtained from data.
Select features, build, and optimize machine learning techniques to improve the accuracy of new products.
Analyze data for trends and patterns, understanding insights with an unbiased mindset.
Implement various analytical methodologies to help solve problems related to the energy industry.
Close collaboration with software developers and machine learning engineers in the implementation of analytical models into production or commercialization.
Develop and utilize algorithms to perform error analysis to improve model uniformity and accuracy.
Communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Work comfortably in a dynamic, research-oriented team with multiple parallel projects.
Design, build, and deploy robust machine learning and generative AI solutions on hyperscale cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks).
Implement MLOps practices to ensure scalable, reliable, and maintainable ML workflows.
Develop and integrate GenAI solutions, demonstrating familiarity with fundamental concepts, models, and toolkits.
**Required Qualifications**:
**Advanced degree in a highly quantitative field**: Computer Science, Machine Learning, Geology, Statistics, Mathematics, etc.
Experience with scientific scripting languages (e.g., Python, R, Matlab)
Experience accessing and manipulating data in SQL database environments.
Demonstrated experience deploying real-world machine learning solutions on hyperscale cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks).
Familiarity with foundational concepts of Generative AI (e.g., LLMs, diffusion models, transformers)



and relevant frameworks.
Excellent English communication and presentation skills, able to effectively communicate with management, engineering teams, clients, and other stakeholders.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
Recent work 0-3 years or internship experience in an advanced data analytics or ML engineering role.
Experience with object-oriented programming (e.g., Python, C#/C++, Java).
**Knowledge of deep learning and related toolkits**: TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, etc..
Knowledge of the energy industry, understanding different challenges and potential solutions.
Experience with MLOps tools and practices (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow, Data Version Control).
Hands-on experience with GenAI frameworks (e.g., langchain, langgraph, adk, semantic kernel, dspy)
Proven experience in developing and deploying GenAI solutions.
**Location**: Mexico City, Mexico or Bogota, Colombia.
