Location/Division Specific Information
This position within Corporate Infrastructure and Security will be based in Costa Rica.
**Discover Impactful Work**:
As an Engineer III, Systems Infrastructure, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our systems operate flawlessly. You will help define our strategy, maintain the tools, and work with business partners to ensure data protection is secure and efficient for critical systems and processes. Your contributions will help maintain our world-class infrastructure.
How will you make an impact?
- Perform the installation, configuration, maintenance, monitoring, and documentation for various systems infrastructure technologies.
- Conduct recovery testing to ensure systems can be restored successfully.
- Participate in audit processes to ensure compliance and governance.
- Provide on-call support within a “follow the sun” model, including weekend rotations.
- Collaborate with the customer support team to determine and communicate outage causes and resolutions.
- Resolve incidents and problems according to guidelines and operational agreements.
- Implement change requests and meet project requirements within strict deadlines.




- Achieve and understand Service Level commitments for all open systems platforms.
- Document processes and maintain a knowledge base for systems infrastructure.
**Keys to Success**:
Education
- A minimum of 2-4 years of higher education, Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field of study.
**Experience or Knowledge with**:
- Advanced knowledge of backup systems infrastructure hardware/software. (Veeam, Avamar, Data Domain, Druva)
- Experience with Hypervisors, Windows & Linux operating systems, Cloud Infrastructure, ServiceNOW.
- IT processes and standard methodologies for systems infrastructure and disaster recovery.
- Experience in highly regulated environments and AI is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Superb communication and documentation skills.
