What will you do?
**How will you get here?Education**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
**Experience**:
- Minimum 10-12 years of hands-on experience in SAN and NAS administration.
- Strong knowledge of storage protocols (iSCSI, Fibre Channel, NFS, SMB/CIFS).
- Extensive experience with enterprise storage platforms from vendors like VASTdata, NetApp, Dell EMC PMAX/Unity/VNX/PowerScale, HPE 3par, Pure, or Hitachi.
- Advanced experience with AWS storage solutions like FSx, gateways, S3 bucket, etc.
- Proficient in backup and disaster recovery technologies and strategies.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and their integration with storage solutions.
- Solid understanding of network infrastructure and its relation to storage environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to solve various storage issues.
- Superb communication and teamwork.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Lead the design, configuration, deployment, and maintenance of Storage solutions.
- Monitor storage performance, utilization, and forecasting, and guide the team in these activities.
- Coordinate and manage storage arrays from vendors.
- Lead all aspects of data backup and recovery processes, ensuring data integrity and security.
- Perform and supervise routine maintenance and upgrades on SAN/NAS systems.
- Resolve storage-related issues,
including connectivity, performance, and data integrity.
- Provide advanced technical support to resolve storage problems.
- Collaborate with IT teams to support database, virtualization, and server environments.
- Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans for storage systems.
- Monitor and optimize storage performance to ensure high availability.
- Analyze and forecast storage growth to ensure business continuity.
- Develop strategies for data archiving, tiering, and storage automation.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of storage configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Generate reports on storage utilization, performance metrics, and capacity trends.
- Prepare and present technical recommendations for storage upgrades and improvements.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Industry certifications (e.g., NetApp Certified Data Administrator, Dell EMC Proven Professional, HPE ASE Storage Solutions Integrator).
- Extensive experience with cloud-based storage solutions (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Knowledge of automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for storage management.

- Demonstrate strong collaboration with storage architecture teams.
- Lead multiple project work and ensure timely completion.
- Actively participate in disaster recovery exercises.
- Have a high emphasis on data security in all aspects of storage administration.
